Game 1
The Wranglers took the lead late and defeated Frank Phillips College 5-2 on Friday. The Wranglers trailed 2-1 in the top of the sixth inning untilAddy Richhomered on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.
Caitlyn Rangel earned the victory on the rubber for Cisco allowing only four hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out eight.
The Wranglers racked up ten hits on the day. Sophomores Buck and Murleyeach collected multiple hits for Cisco, Buck went 3-for-4 at the plate.
Game 2
It came down to the wire on Friday, with the Wranglers taking a victory on a dramatic walk-off single in the late innings that sealed their victory over WNCC. The game was tied at six with the Wranglers batting in the bottom of the seventh when Murley singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run. In the first inning, the Wranglers got their offense started byscoringtwo runs when Buck homered.
Maya Shelby earned the win for the Wranglers only surrendered six runs on seven hits over seven innings, striking out ten.
The wranglers socked two home runs on the day, Buck had a four bagger in the first inning and Murley went for the long ball in the fourth inning.
The Wranglers scattered 13 hits in the game. Waller went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Cisco in hits.
Game 3
The Wranglers fell to McCook 14-13 on Saturday on the final play of the game. The game was tied at 13 with McCook batting in the bottom of the seventh whenBacasingled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.
The Wranglers fell behind by ten runs in the fourth inning, but then tried to fight back. They scored ten runs in the failed comeback.
The offensive onslaught by the Wranglers was led by Buck and Kelley, who all drove in runs. Camacho took the loss allowing seven hits and six runs over four innings, striking out nine and walking one.
McClellan started the game for the Wranglers going two innings, allowing eight runs on eight hits, striking out three and walking one.
The Wranglers saw the ball well today, racking up 16 hits in the game and 4 homeruns from Buck, Rich, Camacho, and Sherwood, it was just not enough to pull out the win.
Game 4
Both teams were strong in the pitcher's circle on Saturday, but Coastal Bend College was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over theWranglers on Saturday. Maddy Martinez started the game for the Wranglers and recorded 11 outs, allowing two runs and striking out five.
Maya Shelby took the loss for Cisco, surrendering one run on two hits over three and a third innings, striking out five and walking one.
Buck, Luna, and Murley each managed one hit to lead the Wranglers.
Game 5
The Wranglers lost despite out-hitting Northeast Texas 11 to ten, in a 15-7 loss to Northeast Texas on Monday. In the fourth inning, the Wrangler tallied four, which was led by doubles by Waller andAndersenand a home run by Murley.
Maddy Martinez took the loss for the Wranglers lasting one inning, allowing three hits and eight runs while striking out one.
The Wranglers racked up 11 hits on the day from Gomez, Andersen, Murley, and Kelley.
Game 6
The Wranglers and Northeast Texas traded the lead back-and-forth on Monday, but eventuallyCisco prevailed 14-10. The game was tied at nine with Cisco batting in the top of the fifth when Rich singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Kayla Camacho was on fire boosting the Wranglers, who went 5-for-5 at the plate. Camacho doubled in the first, singled in the third, homered in the fourth, singled in the sixth, and homered in the seventh.
After the Wranglers scored three runs in the top of the fourth, Northeast Texas answered with three of their own.The Wranglers scored when Camacho homered on a 1-0 count, scoring three runs. Northeast Texas then answered when Hancock homered on a 1-1 count, scoring three runs.
CiscoCollege Wranglers offense in the 7thinning was led by Sherwood and Camacho, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.
Maya Shelby was credited with the victory lasting seven innings, allowing 14 hits and ten runs while striking out five.
