Dalyn McDonald joined the Cisco College coaching staff in January 2025. He will handle the Wranglers' Wide Recievers.
McDonald comes to the Hill after spending the 2024 season as the Video Coordinator/Assistant Wide Receivers Coach at Southeast Missouri State University (FCS) in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He helped coached wide receivers Dorian Anderson, Tristan Smth, and Cam Pedro to All-Ohio Valley Conference honors. McDonald's contributions helped the Red Hawks finish with the second-best total offense and the first overall passing offense in the OVC.
McDonald himself starred in the Ohio Valley, playing wide receiver and returning kicks for SEMO from 2022-23. McDonald finished his career with the Red Hawks with 1,519 all-purpose yards and six total touchdowns, with four coming from kick-off return and two through the air. For his stand-out performance on the field, McDonald was named First-Team All-OVC Big South Returner and First-Team All-OVC Kick and Punt Return Specialist in 2022.
He has previous NJCAA experience as well. McDonald started his collegiate football career at Southwest Mississippi Community College (NJCAA) in Summit, MS. In 2021, while suiting up for the Bears, McDonald finished 10th in the nation in all-purpose yards.
McDonald is originally from Gautier, Mississippi. He holds a B.A. in General Studies from Southeast Missouri State University, with a Minor in Sports Management and Marketing Management.
